A Lilyfield program for youth ages 9-18 where they can participate in classes that help them learn skills to have healthy relationships with themselves, others, and with money.
Who We Are
Lilyfield’s EmpowerYouth program offers classes that help youth (9yo+) learn social & emotional life-skills to have healthy relationships with themselves, others, and with money. Participation in the program is free and voluntary, and it requires the agreement of the parent/guardian, as well as the youth participant.
What to expect while in a Lilyfield EmpowerYouth Program
Our Youth Advocates lead classes that help students learn life-skills essential for healthy relationships in a fun and connective setting. We utilize evidence-informed curriculum paired with interactive games and activities. Each class session also includes a snack/treat.

Cirriculum
Emerging Relationships [9-16 Years Old]
Relationship skills curriculum for young teens. This curriculum embodies an innovative
approach that addresses positive youth development, life skills, healthy relationships,
dating violence, & pregnancy prevention.
Love Notes [14-18 Years Old]
In this course, youth discover how to make wise choices about relationships,
sexuality, pregnancy, partnering, and more.
Mind Matters [14-18 Years Old]
People experiencing ongoing stress or prior trauma often have difficulty regulating
their emotional responses when facing challenges in school, life, and relationships.
Through the skills taught in this course, participants can begin to take charge of
themselves and their responses to what life throws at them.
Money Habitudes [14-18 Years Old]
Understanding money is important for all teens. Even basic financial competence
can improve their relationships as well as help them attain goals for lifestyle,
education, career and family. This course focuses on exploring this “human side
of money.”
Once the student has completed all classes through attendance AND active participation, they will receive an incentive valued at $50.
Individual Mentoring
Upon completion of a class in our curriculum, youth are able to receive individual mentoring from a Lilyfield dedicated staff member. Mentoring will help Youth in accomplishing their goals and aiding with applications of all sorts.
