Empower Parent Advocate Transition to School Project- OKC
Purpose: provide the direct services offered by Lilyfield to assist families as their children transition into school in grades Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten by supporting the needs of both the parent or caregiver and the child. Demonstrate compliance with the Transition Family Pilot grant as it pertains to required services. Provide direct, individualized and/or group services to families.
Empower Parent Advocate Transition to School Project- Tulsa
Purpose: This position provides services for two unique Lilyfield programs: Foster Care and EmpowerParents. We expect the role will devote approximately 30% time to Foster Care and 70% to EmpowerParents. This position will provide the direct services offered by Lilyfield to assist families as their children transition into school in grades Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten by supporting the needs of both the parent or caregiver and the child. Demonstrate compliance with the Transition Family Pilot grant as it pertains to required services. This position will also provide direct, individualized and/or group services to families. Provide case management, counseling, assessment and supportive services to foster families and foster children. To provide recruitment and retention services to foster families.
Volunteer Connector, Check and Connect Program
Purpose: Lilyfield deploys volunteers in its EmpowerOKC and EmpowerTulsa program, which is designed to prevent the circumstances that lead families to be involved with the child welfare system. Lilyfield’s two generation (2Gen) approach focuses on family well-being by working with the whole family, providing strategic and simultaneous support to children and their caregivers. Our specific service areas include mental health counseling, parent support and education, mentoring, child-care programs, after school programs, pregnancy support services, and foster care.
