Our Mission

Lilyfield is focused on providing healthy families for at-risk children and youth. Our programs serve individuals and families impacted by adoption and foster care, as well as those at risk of involvement with the foster care system. We have four program areas: adoption, foster care, family strengthening and child abuse prevention, and specialized counseling for families impacted by adoption, foster care or trauma. Lilyfield’s long term vision is to ensure that children in our community have safe and healthy homes where they can be nurtured and grow to their full potential.

We have all been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The nature of our work at Lilyfield means that we cannot cease our services. The children and families we serve are always vulnerable, but they are particularly vulnerable during this time. Please help us by donating here today!

The kids at our Hope Center were thrilled to receive new shoes from Cleats for Kids and Oklahoma City Thunder Basketball Player, Darius Bazley today! We are beyond thankful for Darius who is giving back to the community in this special way. What a great example of a giving spirit during this time of year.

We’ve learned that when the Holy Spirit gently nudges you into this process, and you fully commit to His leading, incredible things can happen. Learned that raising a child without our biological makeup can be challenging and sometimes hard. We’ve learned that we walk this journey with so many other precious families and share similar experiences. Learned that through Christ, we can conquer our fears. Learned…we’re still learning."

In early 2008, I read about fostering through Lilyfield in our church bulletin. At the time, I thought it was taking care of the babies that were being adopted, but after attending an informational meeting, I realized it was fostering children for the state. I've always loved taking care of babies and little children so we moved forward in the training process, seeing this as a ministry that we could work in.

We have grafted him into our family, like Jesus grafted us into His. What a testimony we have of the gospel…right here in our arms.

Foster care has been the hardest (and best) thing we've ever done. We have learned so much about God's unconditional love for us and about trusting God in uncertainties. When our first placement (several years ago) had some extreme behavior issues, the support from Lilyfield's on-call workers was life-saving.

“This organization saved my life! Every redirection has been a blessing. Thankful for an organization that recognized the needs a human needs to be successful. The stability and mentors I had as a part of this program were just what I needed. I know future foster alumni will benefit from this newly revamped program and I cannot thank them enough."

Adoption is special to us as we are able to provide a loving family to our child as well as providing a way to grow our family. We have been especially touched by the love and support of our famiy and friends throughout our adoption journey. We are very blessed to have our son in our live.

Bryson & Raychel
Not only have we gained a son, but we’ve also grown so close to his birth family, we consider the family as well. We’re thankful for those relationships and we feel blessed that our son is growing up surrounded by lots of love.

I just want to thank you again for all you did for the adoptive family leading up to this wonderful day - and for the kind and caring information you shared with me in the last month! (The adoptive parents) have asked us to be the grandparents (to this child). We are thrilled and honored! They are special people!

Krista J.
When God called us to be foster parents in the Fall of 2013 I never imagined what he had in store for us. God sure does have a sense of humor, doesn’t He? If someone had told me 2 years ago that I would be doing foster care and have 5 children, I would have laughed in their face. It is certainly not what we would have planned, but God’s plans are always better than we can ever expect. God is using these experiences in fostering to mold us into the individuals and also the family that he wants us to be.

"Adoption made us a family and filled our hearts to the brim. Our prayers were answered with the precious gift of Sam, and he is tender reminder of God's love. We are forever grateful and honored to be his parents."

I wanted to take time to thank you for all your hard work and kindness. I feel so blessed to have met you and that God put you in my life just at the perfect time when I needed you! You truly have a heart for service, it definitely shows in the work you do for young women who are hurting and need you to help them through their tough decisions...

Nothing could compare us for the awe and pure joy sweet Rose has brought to our lives. We will be forever grateful for the experience of adoption and cannot find the adequate words to describe the magnitude of this blessing. We thank God for the incredible gift of this precious baby girl and we know the wait and trials we’ve faced have been well worth it.

God is writing a story for our family that we could have never penned ourselves and we are overwhelmingly blessed to be living this chapter with our sweet Penny.
