Amy Emerson, MD


Amy is a pediatrician, who lives in Tulsa, OK, with her husband Clint and their four children. She and Clint have served as both adoptive and foster parents. She obtained an undergraduate degree from Harding University, followed by her Medical Degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. She is actively involved in the community, working to increase awareness of the importance of early literacy and is employed by Educare, as a Director of Community Outreach. She also serves on the board of Reach Out and Read Oklahoma, and in this capacity, encourages health care providers to weave early literacy messaging into their medical practice. Recently she served on the transition team for Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, advising him on issues around health and human services. She has been appointed to the board of the Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs. She and Clint own Emerson Orthodontics in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Esthetique by Emerson in Tulsa. Cheering on her children at sporting events and music performances is a favorite activity, and as a family, the Emersons love traveling. She and her family attend The Park Church of Christ in Tulsa.
